Safety first

Be sure that your hands are dry and free from moist. Unplug the computer power cord before touching anything inside the computer. Checking your system compatibility

Check your memory if you have the strict type and speed. If your motherboard supports Ddr2 memory that will be the memory you're holding on right now because, Ddr, Ddr2 and Ddr3 are totally different. Be sure that you use with the same speed as the motherboard specifications to avoid any problems in the future.

Look for the notch below the memory module in the middle of the gold pins. Make it sure that it is perfectly in line with the slot break in the memory slot. If it doesn't match up just reverse the memory module you maybe putting it in the wrong way.

After securing the strict position insert the memory module in vertical position. Press down both ends of the memory module until the tabs lock on both sides. You can also press both the tab lock inward for further securing the lock.
