Intel Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Cpu

The Intel Core 2 Duo Cpu with the Wolfdale core allows intel to put more power into the Core 2 Duo box while reducing the power consumption down to 65W. Reducing the power to 65W means less heat from the Cpu which will give you lower case temps and longer Cpu life.

There are a join of new features in this Cpu which include:

Ddr2 Ddr3

* The L2 cache has been raised to 3Mb to 6Mb(depending on processor) and the Fsb has been bumped to 1066Mhz to 1333Mhz(depending on processor).

* Now you can run Ddr2 and Ddr3 memory.

* Dynamic carrying out and Smart Memory access- allowing the Cpu to compute more data per clock cycle.

* advanced Digital Media Boost- best audio and video processing.

* protection Boost- Faster Speed and encryption power.

Dual Core Microarchitechture
Dual carrying out cores run parallel applications giving you best energy efficiency and response.

Intel advanced Smart Cache
Allows the L2 Cache to work with each processor core based on the workload. This reduces latency and improves extensive performance.

Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology
Allows the use of a 64 bit operating theory and programs. Also allows increased virtual and corporeal memory.

Enhanced Intel Speed step Technology
Eist allows the theory to adjust voltage and core frequencies. This will give you power when you need it and conserve energy when you don't.
