Hp Mini 110-3530Nr Netbook - Editor's option

Just over a year ago, netbooks were the rage. Small, slim and most importantly, ultralight, netbooks allowed users of all ages and professions quick passage to computer applications and most importantly the internet. For a man who is almost constantly attached to the web, I have been searching for a netbook that would meet my needs.

I think I've found just that in the Hp Mini 110-3530Nr. This is a notebook that no ifs ands or buts impressed me the occasion I saw it. Visually, it is a thing of beauty. I think that Hp has done a wonderful job designing its new line of notebooks and netbooks. The cover is sleek, the edges look sophisticated and best of all, the Mini is understated elegance.

Under the slippery skin is a 1.66 Ghz Atom processor. This low voltage processor allows me to keep the Hp Mini 110-3530Nr running for up to almost 9 hours! Now for a slim, lightweight machine, that's very impressive! The battery is a accepted 6-cell Lithium Ion pack and even with that, the Hp Mini 110-3530Nr only weighs in at 3.1 lbs!

This netbook also comes with 1 Gb of Ddr3 (where many only come with Ddr2) Ram and a quick 250Gb 7200 rpm hard disk. The screen is a 10.1 inch Wsvga, anti-glare screen with a nice resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels.

For those used to larger screens, the 10.1 inch screen might seem small, however, for browsing the web, working on documents and checking your Facebook status, the Hp Mini 110-3530Nr more than adequately does the job. I remember when large computers didn't have this much processing power let alone Ram! My uncle constantly reminds me that hard drives used to be 1 Mb while Ram was often just 64 kb!

What is also nice about purchasing an Hp is all the bundled Hp solutions that come with the engine such as Hp recovery Manager, Hp Quick Sync and more. Hp also has a nice highlight that allows you to passage the web without having to boot up Windows. So if you just need to check a web-page, you can do that very quickly and consume less vigor while doing it too!

All in all, the Hp Mini 110-3530Nr is a great piece of hardware if you are constantly travelling or just need something to get you online and contribute some productivity during the day. Take it from me, once you've gone Hp black, you'll never go back.
