2 men, 3000 blocks of TNT, 1 goal. The task was undertaken in a rather large cavern deep below the surface (about 15 blocks above bedrock). The objective was to stuff the entire cavern with as many blocks of TNT as would fit. Looking at the Minecraft Server logs this required just over 3000 blocks of TNT. The results were just... out of control. At the point of detonation the memory usage on both Minecraft server and the two connected Minecraft clients spiked causing the Minecraft server to go critical and for both clients to freeze and crash. I was able to recover the Minecraft server and to "save-all" before rebooting. The cavern left by the explosions was massive.... this can be seen @1:33 onwards.....
